How To Make A Website
Faster Than You Ever
Dreamed Possible!
If you're curious as to how to make a website without having to do too much heavy lifting or insatiable website designing then you'll be a happy camper once you read this page.
Simply put, it all starts with one beautiful word: Outsourcing.
But before that though let me admit that I LOVE to write my own content, just as you probably want to design your own website. (Or then again, maybe not!)
The thing is though, in my experience, once you have a handful of websites set up, you start looking for easier ways to get a site up and running.
Or maybe you just don't want to write ANY content, or do any designing whatsoever.
Whichever way you want to go, let me tell you about a magical outsourcing website I discovered (after driving folks mad with my endless persistence!) It's called oDesk and it's, well, a site that allows you to post ANY sort of work you want done, and get a whole bunch of folks keen as mustard to do your bidding!
Uhuh, they will bid on your project too.
So let's say you're wondering how to make a website, and you know you'll need 10 articles written (one for each page), and you want some basic website design done (couple of banners, site header, logos etc), and maybe even some back linking done too...
Well you just go to oDesk and post a few projects explaining exactly what you want done. Then sit back and wait for the applications to come flying in...
The thing with oDesk is that you can specify folks from specific regions. So, for example, I used a Romanian programmer, Filipino's to write my articles, and whoever else I need, depending on what it'll cost, and how good their work is.
It's also very good on the wallet. You can get folks working for you for anywhere from US$1.00 per hour and up, all depending on what you want done. A Filipino girl has written 10 exceptional website reviews for me for a mere $15, so this gives you an idea of the fantastic potential.
Still wondering how to make a website? :)
But - the million dollar question... do you get good quality work?
Well - a lot depends on who you get to do your project. The first few Filipino writers I used almost traumatized me with their writing style. But the writers I use now are superb and 'good enough' for my needs. (And that's quite an understatement!)
A good approach is to ask for examples before you employ anyone.
And lastly, you can set up your project to be done for one set payment, or you can pay per hour. I'm currently experimenting but have found that the one time set fee gives me more control over what I need to get done. The 'outsourcers' will quote you on what they can do the project for, and then you can choose what price fits best.
Anyway, if you're still wondering how to make a website then wonder no more. oDesk is quite powerful once you get the hang of it! :)
